Pampas and football

In 1840, football comes to Argentina with the English immigrants. The sport created for gentlemen became popular, the most popular of all. 
With the construction of railways by British companies, workers played soccer in his spare moments by using a bladder cow ball. 
The  football spilled , and won the pampas. 
The first team was Argentina Quilmes Rowers Club in 1887, then called Quilmes Athletic Club and later in Quilmes Atlético Club hispanicized. The club is a few kilometres to the birthplace of Hudson. 
In the first clubs played only British, what with the excitement it generated was promoted the creation of new clubs for Creoles. 
Football is another  contribution both sport and cultural that was sown and grew strongly in the pampas.

En 1840, el fútbol llegó a Argentina con los inmigrantes ingleses. Ese deporte creado para caballeros se volvió popular, el más popular de todos .
Con la construcción de los ferrocarriles a cargo de empresas británicas, los trabajadores jugaban en sus ratos libres al fútbol usando por pelota una vejiga de vaca.
El fútbol se viralizó, y ganó las pampas.
El primer equipo de la Argentina fue el Club Quilmes Rowers en 1887, luego llamado Quilmes Athletic Club y más tarde castellanizado en Quilmes Atlético Club. Se encuentra muy cerca del lugar de nacimiento de Hudson.
En los primeros clubes sólo jugaban británicos, lo que con el entusiasmo que generó este deporte promovió la creación de nuevos clubes para criollos.
El fútbol es otro aporte cultural-deportivo de la inmigración que se sembró y creció con fuerza en esta pampas.

1840年サッカーが英国の移住者達と共にアルゼンチンにやって来た
それは紳士の間で始まるが大衆化し、やがて最も普及するスポーツの一つとなった
当時、鉄道建設は英国の企業に任され、その就業員達は短い休憩時間に牛の膀胱で作ったボールを使い楽しんだと言う
こうしてサッカーは、アルゼンチンのパンパスで命を吹き込まれた
アルゼンチンで一番最初のチームは1887年に創立したキルメス ローウェル クラブ、後改名しキルメス アトランティック クラブ、その後カステジャーノ語（アルゼンチンのスペイン語）に訳されキルメス アトレティコ クラブと成る
サッカーチーム発祥の地はハドソンの生誕地の近くで、大体15キロ程の距離がある、当時は両地ともキルメス地区内となっていた。
最初のクラブは、英国人だけでプレーをしていたが、大衆に人気が出て瞬く間に各地でクリオージォス（アルゼンチン人）のクラブが設立した 
サッカーは外国からの移住者によってスポーツ文化が植え付けられ、このパンパスで育ち今日のアルゼンチンサッカーの基盤となった

Hace frío, los días son cortos y húmedos con neblina o lluvia e inevitablemente recuerdo el verano. Tengo en mi memoria la imagen de un biguá, nadando y zambulléndose, una y otra vez, en la orilla del estuario del Río de la Plata; sin molestarse por mi presencia. Este pájaro habita en aguas dulces de ríos, arroyos y lagunas de "las pampas". También se lo llama pato cuervo por su hábito acuático y color negro. No hay diferencias entre el macho y la hembra, sólo el ejemplar joven es pardo. En época de cría les crecen a los lados de los ojos plumas blancas. Su largo cuello de forma de S, le permite cazar en el fondo del agua, pequeños moluscos, peces y crustáceos. A veces se encuentra solo, otras vive en grupos de más de 50 aves. Le gusta posarse en árboles y ramas secas, o en las rocas y así pasar las horas. Tiene un primo hermano en Asia (Phalacrocorax  carbo)  que hace cientos de años fue domesticad...

Nacreous clam : Náyades

We are all part of an ecosystem, and we think we know everything about life around us. But she takes different forms, it is often mysterious ...   The   nacreous clams of the hydric system of Rio de la Plata   are an example of this.  These clams are  native. They live in freshwater. They are large, and its outer surface is covered by a dark layer,   but they have a very beautiful inner nacre layer. They live in our ecosystem, buried in the sandy mud of unpolluted waterways, and part of their life cycle are parasites of   fishes .  In the early 50's they were used to make  buttons.  Today they are threatened by pollution, overfishing and the presence of invasive species that compete for their habitat.
